As my phone pinged with confirmation of my stay at St Christopher’s Gare Du Nord in Paris, I began to get excited at the prospect of testing out my brand new Jurni suitcase along the streets of one of my favourite cities!

During my time in Paris, I soon came to realise what all the fuss about the Trunki’s older brother was about.
The Jurni suitcase is the most versatile and useful carry-on size suitcase I’ve come across! You can sit on it, ride it, use it as a mini-wardrobe and even pop out the top packing pod which came in very useful on my overnight bus trips to and from Paris.
If you don’t believe me, just watch the travel vlog at the top of this page.
And don’t forget to scroll to the end of this post where you can WIN your very own Jurni suitcase! Competition now closed!
Jurni Suitcase Review
One of my favourite budget ways to travel between my home in England and France is to take the overnight bus. Arriving in the city in the morning and leaving late at night gives so much more time to enjoy the day and I just love waking up in Paris…
The Jurni suitcase made it even easier to keep my essentials at hand. It’s so easy to just pop the pop-out pod and carry that on the bus whilst the main case goes underneath. And Victoria Coach station is always busy – but this time I had my very own seat!
Where I stayed: St Christopher’s Inn Gare Du Nord
Recognised by Hostelworld as the most popular hostel in Paris, St Christopher’s Inn Gare Du Nord was opened in 2013, and I’ve met travellers and St Christopher’s staff over the years who have done nothing but rave about this hostel.
So as soon as I knew I would be visiting Paris I decided to check it out!
Not only is it easy to get to and easy to get around the city from, the hostel also offers brand new facilities such as personal USB plugs and light for each bed. The switch for these is located within the shelf that spans the width of the modern-era POD style bunk beds.
But as you can see, I also had my own handy little shelf in my Jurni to organise my toiletries from my clothes! To see me setting up the Jurni in action, just click here!
As you can see in the photos, the Jurni made my hostel trip so much more sophisticated!
Usually, I waste time rummaging through duffel bags, backpacks and suitcases trying to find what I need, but the adjustable shelf and extra storage in the door made life so easy in Paris…

Jurni Suitcase Review: Exploring Paris!
Check-in at St Christopher’s Gare du Nord is at 2 pm. But even though you can drop luggage off earlier than that the Jurni suitcase was so light and easy to carry with me that I didn’t even consider it. So it joined me to some of my favourite spots on the first day!
As I did so much during my three days in Paris I’ve decided that I will make next week a week of guides to Paris. In the meantime, just hover over the images below to see where I went with my versatile Jurni!
Jurni Suitcase Review: Competition now closed!
Jurnig and I teamed up to offer one lucky reader a suitcase in the colour of their choice, plus a free security strap and lock to keep your belongings extra safe on your hostel travels! But the competition closed on Friday 8th April 2016!
However, if you want to buy your very own Jurni suitcase, then you can grab one from Amazon for £140.
Like it?! Pin it!
So what was the best part of my trip to Paris?
The best part was that I packed the Jurni, rolled it, rode on it, sat on it more times than I’d like to admit and most of all… loved it!
In fact, as this post goes live I will be heading off to Amsterdam with it for another weekend city break!
P.s. Make sure to follow Jurni on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for future competitions!
Just a quick note: the competition and travel vlog was sponsored by Jurni, but I really do love the product and can’t wait to share it with the winner of this giveaway! I’d also like to thank St Christopher’s Inn Gare du Nord for having me as a guest, but as always all opinions are honest and my own.
