Planning a Eurotrip for yourself or a group of friends can be painful. You might already know which cities you want to visit. But how do you decide where to stay and how best to travel Europe on a budget without taking an expensive European tour? Well, I have a few gifts to help you, kindly provided in partnership with Europe’s Famous Hostels…
How to Travel Europe on a Budget with a Famous Hostels European Tour
What’s better than staying at one great hostel in Europe? I would say, getting recommendations of other great hostels in Europe by places you’ve already stayed in.
Which is why Famous Hostels have published European tour routes that don’t just recommend hostels that are close to each other, but also tell you exactly how to travel between the hostels!
Just think of all the hours you could save on Eurotrip planning by being told exactly which bus or train to take and where to book the travel on a budget!
Take the pain out of Eurotrip planning…
…let someone else do it for you! Below I’ve chosen one of my bucket list European tour routes outlined by Famous Hostels. It’s The Best of the South West route which begins in Malaga and ends in Sevilla, with a quick mid-tour detour to Morocco (click here to see my tips on Morocco)!
As I’ve highlighted in the example below, you can see:
- all the best hostels for each of the five cities on the left hand side
- under each city, they’ve also listed four of the best things to see and do in the destination
- and then on the right hand side they’ve recommended the cheapest and easiest way to get between each destination – all you have to do is visit the transport websites and find out the best price for your Eurotrip!
European Tour Routes
The example above shows just one of the eleven European tour routes designed and created by the Europe’s Famous Hostels association. Other routes cover the UK, Spain, the Far East, Northern Europe and so much more!

How to Book The Right Hostels For Your European Tour
Once you’ve decided which of the eleven routes would best suit your Eurotrip plans, just head straight on over to the Famous Hostels website where you can book with any of the hostels listed on the route plans!
Got any questions before you go? You can always tweet the association @famoushostels – or tweet me – and I’ll do my best to help you plan the best Eurotrip ever!
This post was written in partnership with Europe’s Famous Hostels but I chose the topic because I think these route plans are a great way to kick start your European trip planning, and help save time. As always, all words and opinions are my own.
