The Hostel Girl was founded in January 2014 to share a personal passion for the hostel community. You can read more about the mission behind The Hostel Girl on the about page.
“The Hostel Girl has become a platform where I can share the way in which hostelling advances international understanding and acceptance amongst thousands, if not millions, of travellers worldwide.”
I am always on the look out for hostels who foster homes on the road for travellers. The nature of the reviews on TheHostelGirl.com focus on hostel atmosphere and customer experience, and are written in exchange for a three-night minimum stay plus travel expenses. Payment is for my work and not my content, which remains honest and based on my personal experience.
To see when I might be near to your hostel, keep an eye on my calendar.
I love tours(!) as I think they give travellers the opportunity to see the best of a destination with a limited time frame. If you run a tour company that would interest my readers, feel free to contact me to make arrangements. Tour/excursion reviews are currently written in exchange of experience plus travel expenses.
Many of the partnerships I have now grew from personal experiences I had before meeting with brands on a professional level. If I already promote your content, why not get in touch and see where we can take our relationship in the future?
If you enjoy my writing and would like me to write for your website then contact me at email@example.com with topic suggestions and to discuss rates (per 100 words).

Brands I Have Worked With…
Negative review policy: In the case that I feel an experience has been negative, contact will be made privately with the brand to offer the opportunity for the addition of an explanatory statement to the article.
For OTAs: TheHostelGirl.com supports the future of hostel brands and direct bookings and so will only consider OTA cooperation or affiliation on a case-by-case basis.
No Follow Links: If we work together I want you to get maximum exposure! Links given in exchange for services can negatively affect a website’s ranking, and so any links created within reviews will be “no follow” in accordance with the Google guidelines.
Disclosure: All articles created in cooperation with a brand will contain a disclosure to keep the trust between myself and my readers.
